fortunate,
yet imprisoned
in the early years frost,
buds yet still to bloom
frozen, alas
true potential
held within
never allotted
the opportunity to thrive
shriveled
unprimed
blustering from within
a will to survive,
a beautiful wonder
of which could
have been…
"A will to survive." We all need that.
