a seashell for you
You,
being the person who has everything
i never would have thought…
after Years of me conjuring the perfect gift…
you could not appreciate it
because,
naively,
you did not know…
about the little things,
in life
and the treasures
they behold
so glad,
so fortunate
I could share it with you

ReplyDeleteAnd a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour."

ReplyDeleteKay,thankyou for your seashell,a seashell reminds us of what Socrates could'nt tell!
From the tiny baby shell to the day it is washed empty it whispers, makes the child in us happy, the adult in us thoughtful, and vanishes.
Maybe,even more than that....
hugs to you.
one second, one minute, one day
ReplyDeletegleam in your eye,
raindrop of the rain,
leaf on the grass
first breath and second
one word

If it is a poem ..it is very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIf it is born from your mind ..it is a beautiful thought.
If it's a gift, kay ..is the most beautiful gift that I would appreciate.
