Thawing

there is a chill that’s seeped
into my cells,
cold, still, numbing,
the days
immobile...
wondering how long,
it all must take
for passion and desire
once again to stake claim…
as rapidly as the freeze
seeped into my veins,
slowly, the coldness will lift
a vague memory
of another dreary winters day...
cultivating ambition
where otherwise, lie none
awaiting...
the freeze to thaw
and life...
to once again,
blossom.

  1. I want to melt in the snow with your love been it's warmth... and that's how I blossom.

  3. I like this a lot. You make it easy to fall into hibernation and just dream, especially with all this snow and bad weather.

  4. "Slowly the coldness will lift. A vague memory."
A hopeful tune. Mournful, but forecasting a future sun. May it be soon.

  9. Kay,
softly and gently, 'swim' with the words describing the different condition of mind, which I experience deep from time to time.
    You promise the thawing,
    It's time!
