you have written. It made me sigh!! and smile..
    Such creative writing :}

  2. I love this! It is so fall and so happy...even the picture is happy and colorful! Your words are both crisp and warm...simply wonderful, Kay!

PS: Did you just have a birthday, Kay??????? :D I think you are a year older on your profile. Happy Birthday to YOU! I hope you had a fantastic day, week, month, and that every day throughout this year will be your best ever!

  4. I can smell it . . . autumn bliss! :)

  5. Fall is here… Another year is coming to an end. How true are thy words! I could see the entire picture and I almost felt those autumn leaves falling on me. Beautifully written.

  6. oh my...your autumn (wherever you are) is much much different than the one I am experiencing here. oh how I long for crisp autumn filled with all those good things you have just described.

have a bite of pie for me please. ;-)

  7. Abundance! Yum. What a fully full and fulfilling poem! :)

  8. I love the differing seasons, here it goes from bloody hot to very hot! Oh and i LOVE butternut squash!! Happy day.

  10. An over abundant harvest here, and no mistake.

  11. Is that a recipe for apple or pumpkin pie?

  12. Wow, you make me look at Autumn differently.

It never was my fav season and certainly not when I am in Germany. But I am hungry now ;-))

  13. Awesome, vivid writing, Kay. I heard someone knocking on my door last night. I went and opened it. "Why, hello there, Mr. Autumn," I said in surprise, "you're early this year!"

    Blessings, poet-friend!!

  14. great list. autumn is my favorite time of the year, for many of the same reasons. smiles.

  15. Oh, beautiful, Kay. This is so sweet to hear you eat the same apples variety, as I do, here in Poland. Have a good weekend!

  16. Everyone is into Autumn but me. Still stuck in three digit weather, with nothing to sooth me but posts of fall. Thanks!

  17. Kay, simply yummy. Cute, what a welcoming start to Autumn.

Autumn is actually my favourite season of the year, I can't explain it ... possibly connected to Halloween, and Guy Faulks night (a British celebration).

I named my business 'Pumpkin' because of the beauty and atmosphere connected to the fruit. I adore your poem. :)

  18. I enjoy writing poems and lyrics. I too feel the reader should decide what a poem makes them feel without being directed. Sometimes my commenters don't understand the things I write, but that's o.k.

  19. I can feel the essence of autumn in your post.. :)

  20. O the poetry of Autumn,
    expressed in your words,
    wondrous beauty! :-)

  21. Kay,
I see the horn of plenty spilling its contents on the table! Autumn brings so much to our life! Your words make me see and smell all fruits of the harvest!! Loving every word!!

  22. Hello pretty lady, another post please!!!

  23. Great descriptions Kay.... It POPS right off the screen, like a bountiful harvest should. Autumn is my favourite time of year.....

  24. Harvesting life's bounty, can;t get it any better
